Q. What is Salon Suites?
Salon Suites in a business that individually leases mini salons to stylist(s) that want to start their own salon, but not wanting to lease a whole building. It could also occupy other businesses as well, other than salons. Every suite is separately owned by different business all with individual business licenses.
Q. Why are the doors locked, and what should I do when they are locked?
The doors are locked for the stylist and client protection outside of normal business hours. This is because most salons are closed on Sundays and Mondays, unlike The Salon Elegance; therefore, the doors are locked all day. During the evenings, usually around 7 PM, the doors are locked Tuesday – Friday, and 5 PM on Saturday. At the back entrance there is a call box, press the letter Z to scroll down, find “Salon Elegance” and press call. This will place a call to the salon cell phone, and you will be buzzed in. Please try utilizing this call box. When you call the salon phone directly, for the door to be personally opened for you, you could be interrupting the previous client’s appointment. Therefore, consider if you would want your appointment disturbed.
Q. How do I make an appointment?

Next you will click the Book Now/Book Online tab and a list of services will pop up. Then find the service that you were looking to have done and click request.
NOTE: When you want any woman’s coloring service, there is enough time programed into the color to get a haircut; therefore, you do not need to additionally request a haircut.
After you have clicked the service it will tell you when the next available time we have to accommodate you.
Finally select a time that works for you, and wait for a conformation. All appointments have to be confirmed before they are considered final.
Q. What is DRP?
DRP stands for Designer Reward Program. From September 2012 – December 2013 we have been giving away designer handbags to the client that refers the most new clients during a specific period of time. Starting in January 2014, the new way to win is via a raffle drawn every month, which will occur on the last day of the month. In order to earn raffle tickets you are required to either purchase anything from our ColorProof product line. A specific number of tickets are assigned to different size products purchased and for referrals:
- Travel Size Product = One Ticket
- Regular Size Product = Two Tickets
- Large Size Product = Three Tickets
Q. Can I still refer new clients to the salon?
Of course, salons are built on word of mouth. For your kind gesture, you will receive 20% off your next service as a thanks.
Q. What forms of payment does the salon accept?
The Salon Elegance currently accepts Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Q. If I’m running late what should I do?
When running late please give a courtesy call, at that time we will let you know if we will still be able to accommodate you. In some circumstances you will need to be rescheduled or your service may have to be modified.
Q. Do you have a cancelation policy?
Starting January 2014 all appointments canceled within 24 hours will have a 10$ surcharge added to their next appointment if the appointment is not filled.
Q. Does The Salon Elegance take walk-ins?
Since the salon is a one stylist set up, the chances of being able to accommodate walk-in’s are rare; however, in extremely rare circumstances, when the schedule is open, it is a possibility.
